Care Instructions

You can keep your mealworms in a well-ventilated container with dry substrate such as wheat bran or oats. Our containers come with ventilation holes and wheat bran, so it is okay to keep your mealworms in them. Feed small pieces of fresh vegetables such as carrots or cabbages once every few days for hydration. Store in a cool (20-28℃), shaded area indoors, away from direct sunlight. Keep away from warm temperatures and high humidity and remove any leftover food waste to prevent mould.

The most common of live feeders, mealworms are suitable for small pets such as birds, fish, amphibians, and reptiles. They are high in protein and fats, making them an excellent choice of nutrition for insectivorous animals. Mealworms provide a good source of chitin, aiding in digestion and promoting overall health. Their versatility make them a popular choice for pet owners.
